Microsoft Outlook 2013 – POP3 & IMAP protocols

1st Step: Launch your Microsoft Outlook 2013 program. Click “File” from the top left menu, and click on “Add Account” from the Account Information. Click “Next”.

2nd Step: Select “POP or IMAP”. Click “Next”.

 3rd Step: Key in your details on the User Information section. Since we support both POP3 and IMAP protocols, you can select either one of them under the “Account Type” as your chosen email protocol.

Then, input “mail.domain.com” for the Incoming and Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP). Fill in your username and passwords under the Login Information section. Once you have confirmed all your login information, click on “More Settings…”.

 4th Step: On the “Outgoing Server” tab, click the My Outgoing Server (SMTP) checkbox, which requires authentication as it is the current mail server policy to allow sending from mail client.

 5th Step: Proceed to the “Advanced” tab and change the SMTP port from 25 to 587. Click the Leave a copy of messages on the server checkbox to keep your email as a backup. Click OK to close the settings window and click “Next”.

6th Step: Click “Finish”. Your email account is now ready!
